The Truth

From the school’s earliest days, reference has been made to providing the Full Armour of God for Michaelhouse boys to confidently face the slings and arrows which life would hurl at them. The first three dormitories in Balgowan, now part of the current Founders and East Houses, were called Helm, Breastplate and Shield;  and we still talk of our No1 uniform as our Armour for Life.

We will never know why Todd didn’t get around to naming three more dormitories after the remaining pieces of armour, but it’s not too late for us to acknowledge that most critical, yet unobtrusive accessory: the belt.
